Katrin Glatzel

Katrin Glatzel joined the team in January 2014 as the Policy & Research Officer. She leads the research and writing of the Montpellier Panel Reports and Briefing Papers and the team’s research work around sustainable intensification.

Prior to her post with Agriculture for Impact, Katrin undertook a PhD at Imperial College which she recently completed in September 2013. The focus of her thesis was on the role of the private sector in financing climate change adaptation projects with a case study on the water sector in Jordan.

Katrin previously worked with the OPAL project at Imperial College, the London-based Institute for Government and has volunteered with the Junior Achievement Foundation in Argentina. She also holds the MSc Public Management and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University in the Netherlands and spent a semester at the Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey. Katrin is also fluent in German and French.
