MONTPELLIER PANEL AT THE AFRICAN GREEN REVOLUTION FORUM (AGRF), QUOTED BY BBC

AGRF logoThe Montpellier Panel attended the AGRF conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the Africa launch of the latest Montpellier Panel Report ‘Small & Growing: Entrepreneurship in African Agriculture‘.

Dr Ousmane Badiane, Montpellier Panel member and Africa director for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) was quoted for a BBC report ‘Sowing the seeds for Africa’s green revolution‘, about the AGRF conference and the launch of the report. He highlighted that farmers do not have access to much-needed training to develop their skills and knowledge stating that “if there was one thing for nations to do, it would be to find a way of mainstreaming access to vocational and professional training.”
